Interactive coursebook for students 

Pearson ActiveBooks help students learn wherever they are and at any time. It is an online interactive student’s book with integrated audio and video content. It works on all devices with internet connection - desktop and mobile. ActiveBooks with easy access via Pearson English Portal will engage and interest even the most demanding students. 

How to start studying with ActiveBooks? 

  1. Find an access code to ActiveBook in your Student’s Book.
      
  2. Register or, if you already have an account, log in to Pearson English Portal on pearsonenglish.com/login

  3. Click the "plus" icon that says ADD A PRODUCT.
     
  4. Enter your code into the Access Code field and click on ADD PRODUCT below.

  5. A new ActiveBook tile, i.e. your interactive Student’s Book, will appear on the Dashboard

  6. Clicking on the ActveBook tile will open a new window with the interactive material

All-in-one digital solution for teachers 

Pearson ActiveBook for teachers is an online interactive student’s book with: 

  • Presentation tool which helps teachers deliver lessons in the classroom using an interactive whiteboard or projector and remotely sharing screen during video conferences. The functionalities include: 

    • Notes 
    • Scoreboards 
    • Highlighter 
    • Timer 
    • “Show answer” module
    • Whiteboard 

Assignments section, where the teacher can assign online tasks for students, e.g. as homework. 

Reports where the teacher receives automatic feedback on students’ progress (information about scores, attempts, mistakes and errors). 

Virtual Classroom which enables the teacher to run online lessons with real-time monitoring of students' work. 

By activating the access code to the Presentation Tool, teachers will also be able to use the Test Generator, which enables randomising the order of the exercises and the questions within the exercises, assigning online tests, and downloading multiple versions of tests for printing.
