In accordance with the provisions of the general regulation on the protection of personal data ("GDPR"), Pearson Central Europe Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Szamocka 8, postcode: 01-748, Warszawa ("Pearson") is the administrator of your personal data. This means that we are responsible for the use of your data in a secure manner and according to applicable law(s).

Please be advised that Pearson will process your personal data contained in the declaration on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of GDPR) for the purpose of marketing Pearson products and services as well as for the purposes of our justified interests (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR), which consist of creation of compilations, analyses and statistics for Pearson's internal purposes, including reporting, marketing research, service development planning, statistical modelling and for the purpose of asserting and defending Pearson's claims. We will process your data for the duration of your consent and, in the case of processing for the purpose of asserting and defending claims, until they are subject to the statute of limitations.
Providing your personal data is voluntary. If you choose not to provide us with your data, we will not be able to provide you with information about Pearson products and services, including new publications.
Your consent may be revoked at any time (this will not affect the lawfulness of our use of your data prior to the revocation of your consent).
Your personal data may be shared with entities processing data on our behalf, participating in our processing activities, i.e. entities operating our IT systems and providing us with IT tools; entities conducting postal and courier activities; entities providing advisory, consulting, audit, tax and accounting services to us; advertising agencies; and other entities acting as intermediaries in the organization and in the performance of marketing actions.
Pearson does not and does not intend to transfer your data to a third country (outside the European Economic Area) or to international organisations.
On the basis of your personal data, Pearson will not make automated decisions related to you, including the decisions being the result of profiling. Profiling is any form of automated processing of personal data which involves the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal factors of an individual person, in particular to analyse or forecast aspects relating to that individual's work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location, or movement.
You may submit an application to us concerning:
- rectification of your personal data;
- access to your personal data (i.e. the provision of information about our processing of the data and the provision of a copy of your data);
- the deletion of data that are processed in an unjustified manner;
- limitations of data processing (suspension of data processing operations);
- request the transfer of the data to another administrator or to you (within the scope specified in Article 20 of GDPR);
- your objection to the processing of personal data by us in the legally justified interest of Pearson.
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data.
